The Galapagos in Ecuador is one big animal paradise. Nowhere in the world can you see wild animals so easily in their natural environment. We went island hopping on the Galapagos Islands for a few weeks. What is the easiest way to move from one island to another? We have the answer for you! From mainland Ecuador we took a plane to the island of Baltra. From here we travel to Puerto Ayora on the island Santa Cruz. After turning this island completely inside out, we took a ferry boat to the island of Isla Isabela. Then we also visited the island of San Cristóbal. Curious about our adventures? In this video we show you all the highlights island hopping in the Galapagos, the island of Santa Cruz.

We visit the Charles Darwin Research Center, named after the explorer and naturalist who based the Theory of Evolution on the animals of the Galapagos Islands. We also visit Tortuga Bay and Las Grietas, highlights with many more animals. Throughout the island we see land iguanas, marine iguanas, sea lions, giant tortoises, pelicans, crabs, tropical fish and birds.
