Cabo Frio has the most beautiful beaches in Brazil! Or at least some of the top 10. What a bizarre blue water and white beaches. The Portuguese used to call this place ‘the cold cape’, because the water is slightly colder than in other places. This is again due to a current of polar water that runs along here from Antarctica. Yet they also call Cabo Frio the Caribbean of Brazil and with my drone I’ll show you why. Truly a must-see and one of the most beautiful places during a tour through Brazil.

I hope you enjoyed the video about Cabo Frio, the Caribbean of Brazil. We love beautiful (Caribbean) beaches, so for us this was a really great place. We often hear that travelers skip this place, but that’s such a shame! Cabo Frio is definitely worth it and we would definitely recommend this coastal town. It really feels like you are on a Caribbean island!

We used many different modes of transport in Brazil. We took a night bus several times, but we also often took a long-distance bus during the day. To get to the island of Fernando de Noronha we took a plane. The island is remote in the Atlantic Ocean. We also took a plane to Manaus. This was the starting point of our multi-day jungle tour in the Amazon. Manaus is very remote from the rest of the country. After our jungle tour we took the plane to Campo Grande. From here you can take a minibus to the tourist town of Bonito. Bonito now also has a small airport itself. Unfortunately you cannot fly to this from all places in Brazil.
