Oman is a sultanate in Southwest Asia. The country is located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders Saudi Arabia to the west, the United Arab Emirates to the northwest, and Yemen to the southwest. Nearly 5 million people live in Oman. The country has an area of approximately three hundred thousand square kilometers.
