Canary Islands

The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean. The islands are located west of Morocco and Western Sahara. The Canary Islands consist of seven large and six smaller islands. Together, these islands form one of the seventeen autonomous regions of Spain.

The islands that belong to the Canary Islands are El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Tenerife, La Graciosa, Alegranza, Isla de Lobos, Montaña Clara, Roquel del Este and Roque del Oeste.
