Trinidad and Tobago

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is a country in the southeastern corner of the Caribbean Sea. The country consists of two large islands and a number of smaller islands. The largest island, Trinidad, has an area of ​​4,800 square kilometers and is home to over 1 million inhabitants. The island of Tobago is much smaller, namely about 300 square kilometers. It has a population of only 50,000.
Trinidad and Tobago has a good strategic location. For this reason, it was disputed by several European countries in the seventeenth century. The country is located just off the coast of Venezuela and Guyana and other islands in the Caribbean Sea.
