During our world trip we arrived in Cambodia and went backpacking in Angkor Wat, the world wonder of Cambodia. As always, we travel on a budget, so from Siem Reap we grab a mountain bike and cycle from temple to temple for a whole day. This way we make a tough adventurous trip and see Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, the Bayon Temple and a lot more. Watch the video below!
Best time to travel and important information
The best time to travel to Angkor Wat, the world wonder of Cambodia and Siem Reap in Cambodia is the winter months. There is hardly any rain then! The temperature is actually always constant. Take plenty of water with you, because it is sweltering here!
You can buy a ticket for the world wonder Angkor Wat for one or more days. You must pick this up yourself at one of the sales points on the route from Siem Reap. The prices are as followed:
- One day ticket: 30 euros
- Ticket for three days: 60 euros
- Tuktuk with driver per day: 50 euros
- Renting a bicycle per day: 1 euro
